Craftsman Builders Seattle has an immediate need for experienced Carpenters to join our team of high quality craftsmen! We specialize in residential remodels and are looking for some awesome, quality minded Journeyman Carpenters with experience in all phases of residential construction who love thinking outside the box and wowing clients.
The ideal candidate will have his or her own truck or van and tools and be willing to travel within a 30-mile radius of downtown Seattle — though 90% of our jobs are within Seattle city limits. Work is on-site, though we have a facility in Seattle for pre-fab carpentry when the job calls for it. For the right applicant, we will consider a promotion to Lead Carpenter/Foreman in six months to 1 year.
We’re also looking for apprentices with 1 or more years of experience, recent carpentry training program graduates, as well as experienced project managers/foremen.
Requirements:
1+ years’ experience in residential carpentry
Experience in all phases of residential carpentry preferred (will train the right candidate)
Possession of basic hand and power tools (we provide larger power tools) and reliable transportation to job sites
Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time
Capable of climbing on ladders and carrying at least 80 pounds
Knowledge of standard construction methods in all phases of residential construction
Must possess a positive, can-do, professional attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
